The Lone Star State Classic is a four day dog show event that occurs twice each year (February and July). The LSSC is comprised of three regional dog clubs – Greater Collin Kennel Club, Texas Kennel Club, and Trinity Valley Kennel Club. Each club is a member of the American Kennel Club. As the Lone Star State Classic, these three clubs have made a commitment to the region to provide the general public and the dog community throughout the world an opportunity to attend a major dog show event in the Dallas area. You have seen them on TV in New York, Philadelphia, Orlando, and many other locations. Now you can enjoy one in person. More than 1,700 dogs from all over the US are coming to Dallas for these events. Each day, the Shows will start at 8:00 am and will go through the afternoon until about 5:00 pm. Over 150 different breeds will be exhibited for judging culminating in Best in Show at the end of each day. Come watch your favorite breeds compete each day and cheer for them as they move on towards the Best in Show competition.
